What's going on?

 

MAORI LANGUAGE WEEK - this week is Maori language week and classes and syndicates will be having fun exploring Maori culture and langauge.

CLASS BLOGGING - this year some classes have set up a class blog site. This is a great way for classes and teachers to keep parents informed of what is happening in their classes.

WHEELIE DAY (Thursdays)

 

Staff Pictures - we have updated a number of the staff photos. These can be found on the School page.

Class Notes and Information - in this area you will find notes and information from the various classes.

Calendar - this terms calendar has been up dated. Check it out to see all the fantastic events coming up!

Photos - there have been a lot of new photos added to the classroom page - these include the junior tramp to Ross Creek, club days and the kapa haka group performance.

Newsletters - there have been a number of new newsletters uploaded to the school page.

You can check out the school e-day book from the intranet (however you will not be able to access it out of school)

 

 

 

2010

AMAZING AUTHORS!!

The middle syndicate have strated a new competition called Amazing Authors. Each week the children are able to enter a piece of writing that they feel has met the success criteria, has been neatly written and has been edited for spelling and puctuation.

If the writing is good enough, the child's name will be posted on the website as well as receiving a Principal's Award and certificate.

SMART LUNCHES

These are available MONDAY, WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS - $2.50 or $3.50 sandwich order. WEDNESDAY ONLY - hot lunches (starts in winter terms) are available at $3.50. You can order Chow Mein, Macaroni Cheese, Spaghetti Bolognese and Shepherds Pie. Sandwiches are also available on a Wednesday. Please have orders into the office by 9am with your name and order on the front of an envelope.

Wikispaces - This year we have started to use wikispaces. These are web hosted sites that allow the staff to easily share a variety of web based resources.
